put them in deadspace complexes that only let ships of a specific size to enter thru the acceleration gate... but i dont know how you would find the deadspace complex or set up your gun inside it.
so why not make it so they are just there(a set number) for each system and corps(or alliances) gain control over them by whoever drops it down to offline status(structure) then reps it back up... so they are non destroyable.
or... they are destroyable but they have lots of structure and it is able to be replaced by whoever has enough time to set it up in the complex but would cost a lot of isk to replace...
however i don't know if the complexes would have to be probed out or just be on the overview
that's what i would do rather than making it like a POS so u cant spam them everywhere and anywhere

All nice and interesitng ideas for a new weapon system, but it would have no effect on blob itself... defender woudl still be using one to gurantee victory and this would force attacker to do the same 
..cant kill blob by creating more need for it
i think it would be funny to see a blob of ppl in the required size ship to activate the acceleration gate(like BC or cruisers) to run into the blob of ppl in BS waiting on the warpin point to the acceleration gate
OR it would be of such ship size that both sides would take massive losses due to aoe weapons such as bombs and smartbombs. basically it wouldn't stop the blob... the blob would just be in small less expencive ships that u would lose fast and have to go back to there base of operations to get a new one... so ppl should be less willing to go into a suicidal situation where everyone dies but the deffender has a shorter return trip.
and since u cant activate MWD in deadspace it would stop things going to fast to shoot witch would force a confrontation of opposing fleets...

...or like any self aware FC in 0.0, the attackers FC woudl probably arange two waves. First to clear the entrance and 2nd to get inside, or just simply drop titan on the entrance. possibilities are endless..
Either way, the blob stays since defending blob is still there to defend the area 
so base ur defense inside the complex witch could(would if i had any say in its design) have 2 rooms one for defense and one for the gun, in any case this is a way to split the blob into 2 parts and when warping to the complex you have to land at 0 no matter what you set it to warp into so the people who are defending would have the clear advantage of being able to setup snipe battleships or something...
and wouldn't u just shoot the crap out of the titan with the system guns when it cyno's in?

Definately no. I would probably try to take out support first since you KNOW that Titan is gonna be spider tanked to oblivion and back just minutes after DD is launched.
On another note. Lets forget the complex for a while and think how we get inside that target system in the first place. Now theres going to be a blob at the gate defending that entrance for sure. Only thing that would happen is that defenders would have even bigger advantage over attacker than it has right now -> even bigger blobs to even get inside the bloody system in the first place. 
And again. how did that BS blob get inside that complex again ... I though it was supposed to be restricted to cruisers and battlecruisers or what ever...
...and for that bolded part... that wouldnt kill blob. That would end all territorial conflicts in EvE and thats it for this game.
the BS blob is outside the acceleration gate of the complex but u still have to warp to the acceleration gate so the bs would be outside of it with more(smaller) things inside. this wouldn't put an end to blob warfare but the capital aspect of it would be reduced since the system you would be fighting over would be cyno jammed so what im suggesting would reduce the capital blob and force the use of the conventional battleships fleets.
...if u dont throw out the complex idea u could make ppl use cov ops to gain control over the guns then turn them on the ppl gatecamping unless there would be some message telling u ur gun was getting shot
and there really is no way of getting rid of blobs unless more guns dont win for some reason...

or u just wait for the ppl at the gate to **** off and go away cuz they wont just sit there all day long waiting for the attacking fleet to come thru...
or they could mount a counter attack
or it could be two fleets just sitting on both sides of a gate... not wanting to jump cuz there scared of the other systems guns...
OR you could go around in smaller gangs that cant get hit by the guns sneaking around with cloaks
if all the fc can think of is get all there guys together and charge thru the gate thats kinda sad...

what would your solution be then (use the idea of the system guns in ur response). cuz all u seem to be doing is telling us our ideas don't work.
